Alpine Gardens Loop Trail
Begin at the Upper Goliath Trailhead. This is a wonderful 1/4-mile wildflower hike. The best time for wildflowers is late June to mid-August. For a longer hiker, hike the M. Walter Pesman Trail (#50) down 1.5 miles to the Mount Goliath Natural Area. Due to high elevation, the trails in some years are not generally snow-free until late June or mid-July.
