Formal Programs at El Yunque National Forest:
- Contacto Verde – Are you looking for Contacto Verde hours separate from your classroom? We offer an activity to complete 2 hours of Contacto Verde. It requires your own transportation to visit the forest.
- El Yunque National Forest Mobile App - This app is a Ranger in your Pocket with field guides, maps, a Junior Ranger activity, Contacto Verde and more! Download via the app store or visit the website HERE .
- Junior Ranger – You can become a Junior Ranger! Stop by El Portal de El Yunque to earn your badge. Or download HERE. Once you complete and mail in you will receive an official certificate in the mail.
- El Yunque Junior Ranger - You can become an El Yunque Junior Ranger! Visit our El Yunque NF mobile app by OnCell and take the challenges! Once completed, you can stop in at El Portal to receive your certificate. Download via the app store or visit the website HERE
