California Fire Assistance Agreement
Forest Service Statement on CFAA
The USDA Forest Service has been working diligently with the State of California on clarifying the fire assistance payments in the agreement known as the California Fire Assistance Agreement. The current CFAA will remain in place while we work together to complete a new firefighting agreement that is mutually beneficial to the Forest Service and the State of California before it expires in December 2019.
