KNF Campground Concessionaire Prospectus
The Kaibab National Forest has issued a prospectus to solicit applications for a concession campground and day use area special use permit. Permits on the North Kaibab Ranger District (North Zone) and Williams Ranger District (South Zone) of the Kaibab National Forest will be issued. The solicitation period is Nov. 27, 2023 to July 26, 2024.
Spring facility tour dates have been announced and will fall on April 29 and May 1 on the South Zone and North Zone, respectively. Interested applicants can RSVP or get further information from Kevin Lehto at kevin.lehto@usda.gov for the Williams RD or Kamran Mousavi at kamran.mousavi@usda.gov for the North Kaibab RD.
The North Zone is offering three sites:
- Demotte Campground
- Jacob Lake Recreation Area
- Jacob Lake Campground
- Jacob Lake Group Campground & Picnic Site
The South Zone is offering four sites:
- Cataract Lake Day Use Area
- Dogtown Lake Campground and Group Area
- Kaibab Lake Campground and Group Area
- White Horse Lake Campground
