Forest Order: ORDER # 06-12-10-24-06 UTV Takeover Curfew

Pursuant to 16 USC 551 and 36 CFR 261.50(a) and (b), the following acts are prohibited in the areas described by this order within the administrative boundaries of the Siuslaw National Forest. This order is effective beginning at 12:01 AM on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and ending at 11:59 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

PROHIBITIONS:

1. Using any type of motorized vehicle on roads within the closure area between the hours of 10:30 PM and 6:00 AM local time. 36 CFR § 261.54(a).
2. Using any type of motorized vehicle on designated sand routes within the closure area between the hours of 10:30 PM and 6:00 AM local time. 36 CFR § 261.55(b) and 261.56.
3. Possessing or using a vehicle off National Forest System roads or trails within the closure area between the hours of 10:30 PM and 6:00 AM local time. 36 CFR § 261.56.
