Atchison Campground
There are six fire rings and 10 picnic tables. There is a stream with a spring pipe if you continue 2.6 miles east of the campground on the road. The road is nice for hiking and biking because of limited traffic. The campground is full of mature oaks and pines and there is plenty of firewood in the area.
Current Conditions
Nov 2024 Update: No trash pickup services, please pack out your trash. Avoid parking or pitching tents under dead standing trees. Use extreme caution in high winds. Downed trees, dropped limbs, stump holes and unstable terrain may be present. Campground is not maintained in winter.
