Bear Valley OHV Loop Trail (Main Trail)

Area Status: Not Cleared

The Bear Valley OHV Loop trail is approx 18 miles long. It begins and ends at the Sierra County 650 Road (Bear Valley Campground). The trail is open for all OHV's.  High clearance, short-wheeled base vehicles are recommended.  A few "escape routes" will take you back to Sierra County 650 Road or the Cottonwood Road (FS451).  The trail is maintained under a volunteer agreement with the Diablo 4-Wheelers.  There are an abundance of dirt roads off of this main loop trail to explore.

The OHV area has several "winch hills" and several challenging marked obstacles such as the optional "Ball Pien".  It is a fairly long trail with nice views.  It has a mix of easy to difficult challenges to attempt.
