Collins Creek Seasonal Camp opens 3/27/24 at 8 am.

The Enoree Ranger District offers three seasonal campgrounds. These campgrounds have designated campsites in open areas surrounded by woods. The surrounding forest environment provides an opportunity for many recreational activities such as wildlife and plant observation, fishing, hiking, and photography. Abundant wildlife populations provide some of the most desirable hunting areas in the upstate. 

Extended stay campsites are available at Collins Creek campground during the fall deer hunting season and April turkey season. All campsites during that time are first come, first served. Rates are as follows:

  • $5 per night
  • $50 per calendar month
  • $150 for the fall hunting season

A fee tube is available onsite to pay for extended stay campsites.

Operational Hours: Collins Creek offers first-come, first-serve camping from September 1 to January 3. Collins Creek is also open for first-come, first-serve camping beginning March 27, 2024, during the month of April and will close May 3, 2024.   
Reservations: Collins Creek Seasonal Campground is not reservable as a group site for dates outside of the established hunting seasons for deer and turkey.
Fees: Extended stay campsites are $5/night, $50/ calendar month, $150/season. Campsites are large grassy areas, 36 campsites.
Permit Info: A valid South Carolina fishing license is required to fish on the national forests. The U.S. Forest Service does not issue any licenses or permits for hunting or fishing. Please visit the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Web site for license and regulations information.
Restrictions: Extended Stay campsites are first come, first served. Vehicle and occupancy limits apply at campsites. Please refer to Supervisor's Orders #FM-14-02 on website. Campers must select a site and are responsible for paying at the info board within 30 minutes of arrival. A fee tube is available at the campground. Checkout time is 2 p.m. All camping equipment must be removed from the campground on the closing date shown on the permit or the permit holder will be fined and charged for abandoned property. Place only refuse in trash cans. Quiet time is 10 p.m.– 6 a.m.

Information Center: Extended stay campsites available during the month of April for turkey season and from September through January 1st for the fall deer season.  Care should be taken in the woods during big-game season. Wear blaze orange.
