Tabor Campground

Area Status: Open

Tabor Campground is located along the north-eastern shore of Turquoise Lake in a shaded lodgepole pine forest at 9,900 feet. It has 15 sites and accommodates large recreational vehicles. Facilities include picnic tables, fire rings with grates, potable water, and a vault toilet.

This campground is named after Leadville's infamous Silver King, Horace A. W. Tabor.

High altitude sickness may occur at this elevation. Dates are weather dependent. All services may not be available early or late in the season.

Reservations:	No sites are reservable. This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site.
Fees:	$27 nightly fee per site for overnight camping which includes two vehicles. A third vehicle is an additional $10 per night. RVs and ATV/boat trailers count as one vehicle. $24 per night for overflow parking. Fees are payable by cash, check or money order. Self-servicing fee tube is available. First-come, first-served sites must be occupied the first night.

Water:	Potable water is available through a pressurized water system. No filling RV tanks, please.

Passes:	America the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass cardholders may receive a 50% discount off the camping fee only. The discount only applies to the fee for the campsite physically occupied by the pass owner, not to any additional campsite(s) occupied by members of the pass owner's party.
