Provides access to trails in the Granite Mountain Wilderness, as well as trails in the Granite Basin Recreation Area.

Directions:From the corner of Iron Springs Rd. and Williamson Valley Rd in Prescott, AZ: Northwest on Iron Springs approximately 3 miles. Right on Granite Basin Rd. Follow road approximately 3.8 miles. Metate Trailhead is on the left.
