Cascade Trail

Area Status: Open

Access to the Cascade Trailhead is from Old Hwy Road near Keddie. This 6 mile trail initially parallels Spanish Creek with beautiful views all along the trail.  Approximately 1 mile out visitors can view the Cascade waterfalls from two wooden bridges along the route. The hike to the falls is a popular trek for those wanting a short, relatively easy trail with maximum views. For those wanting more, the trail continues along the river for about another mile. At that point, it ascends to the ridge through a series of switchbacks, where it connects to the Spanish Traverse and Ridge Trail at a 4-way intersection.  From there, it drops down towards the South Park Trailhead and terminates at Barlow Road.
