French Creek Camping Area

This small developed campground is a quiet area with picnic tables, fire rings, and a vault toilet. This site is popular for rockhounding. Adjacent to the campground is a barren hill with a layer of exposed rocks, including the occasional agate. Please recreate with respect.

Restrictions: Collection and/or duplication of vertebrate fossils, including vertebrate trace fossils, from National Forest System Lands requires a permit. No permits for the collection of any fossils are issued for commercial purposes, except for petrified wood.

Fire Information Campfires are allowed, fire rings, grates, and grills are provided. Please don't bring in wood that may be infested by the Emerald Ash Borer.
