Wild Goose Trail #684.3
The Wild Goose Trail travels through the entire Heather Meadows (area is unavailable) area, providing access to other trails, the Austin Pass picnic area and the Heather Meadows Visitor Center. The northern (lower) section of the Wild Goose Trail leads from Bagley Lakes Trailhead at the upper ski area parking lot to Austin Pass Picnic Area. The southern (upper) section begins just beyond the picnic area at Terminal Lake and climbs uphill to Artist Point. Wild Goose reassurance markers embedded in rock cairns help lead hikers through sections of the trail.
