Horse Canyon Trail
The Horse Canyon Trail #5076 is 5.1 miles long. It begins at SR31 and ends at Miller Flat Road #50014. This trail is located along the bottom and south facing slope of Horse Canyon. It climbs 1970 feet from trailhead in Huntington Canyon (7,618 feet) to the top of East Mountain (9,600 feet) and then descends to the Miller Flat Road at 8,713 feet. The trail begins in spruce/fir habitat and climbs through aspen groves and open meadows. It is possible to travel up this trail and then return to Huntington Canyon via Left Hand Fork Trail #5131 and Scad Valley Trail #5388. A loop trip including these two trails would require a vehicle shuttle or walk about 1 mile along the highway. Total length would be 14 miles.

Directions:From Huntington, head north on Main Street toward 100 North. Turn west onto UT-31 and travel approximately 16.9 miles to Horse Canyon Trail #5076 located on your left.
