Spring Creek Trail - Abajos
The Spring Creek Trail - Abajos #159 is 2.7 miles long. It begins at Forest Trail #020, off of Forest Road #079, and ends at Forest Road #113. This trail goes in and out of aspen stands and open meadows with views into Spring Creek and towards North Peak. In fall, the golden yellow leaves of the aspens make this an especially beautiful hike.

Directions:From Monticello, turn west onto 200 South and stay left at the Y onto Abajo Dr., continue on North Creek (FH 49- Loop/Harts Draw) and travel approximately 4.7 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road #079 (Indian Creek) and travel approximately 4.9 miles. Turn right onto Forest Trail #020 and travel approximately 0.2 miles to Spring Creek Trail #159 located on your right.
