Burlfriends Trail
Burlfriends Trail is 4 miles one way and starts at the La Sal Pass kiosk on the La Sal Pass Rd (FS Rd 0073). The trail ends at a lower section of La Sal Pass Road. You can do a loop by continuing back up La Sal Pass road or crossing the road and taking the South Mountain trail back up to the new Medicine Lake trail (about 8 miles for the whole loop) to return to your vehicle. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Mountain Biking, Horseback Riding.

General Information
Directions:Easiest route: From Moab, head south on US191 and travel 22 miles. Turn left at the Hwy 46 junction to the town of La Sal. Then drive another 13 miles and take a left on to the Upper Two Mile graveled dirt road. After 2 miles make a left turn for the La Sal Pass Road. Drive 6 more miles to the La Sal Pass parking area. There is one stream crossing that at low flows is suitable for most higher clearance two-wheel-drive vehicles. This road may be impassable in certain seasons or weather conditons.
