Carp River Campground
Carp River Campground has 20 wooded campsites in a quiet, rustic setting adjacent to the Carp Wild and Scenic River. You can camp, fish, hike, canoe, kayak, or just enjoy a back to basics, rustic camping experience to "get away from it all."
Each site has a table and a fire ring. Water pumps and vault toilets are conveniently spaced throughout the campground.
If you plan to fish the Carp River, you may catch brook, brown and rainbow trout. Access the Carp River using one of the stair sets constructed along the riverbank. Printable map.

General Information
Directions:From the intersection of US-2 and I-75 drive north on I-75 to exit 352 (County Road 123). Turn right (east) on Highway M-123 and travel 500 feet. Then turn left (north) on Mackinac Trail (H-63). Drive north 5.2 miles to FR 3445, turn left (west) and drive 0.25 mile to the campground.

River and Stream Fishing
Located several miles away from Carp River Campground, the Hiawatha National Forest manages a small boat launch at the mouth of the Carp River on Lake Huron. Coordinates for that site are: 46.024059, -84.693767
A fishing platform is also located at this location. It is a great location for salmon and steelhead fishing.
