Hours of Operation: Wildflowers can be found in the spring and summer months.  Usually, the first flowers appear in April and the last fade away in October.

Visitors seeking National Forest visitor information are served at the Pictured Rocks Cruises Information Center, located at the corner of M-28 and Elm Avenue in downtown Munising. Beginning in 2018, this new public/private partnership provides convenient one-stop shopping for the recreating public. The US Forest Service's Munising Ranger District Office primarily handles business and management related customers. For office hours visit https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/hiawatha/about-forest/offices. The grounds are also home to a native plants garden visible during the snow-free season.
