Edison - Lava Trail
This is a lightly used trail through pine and mountain hemlock forests. Water is available at Lava Lake at one end of the trail.
A long challenging biking loop can be made by connecting to the Metolious-Windigo Horse Trail #99 and riding some highway miles.

General Information
Directions:This route begins from both Edison Butte and Lucky Lake Trailheads:
- Edison Butte Trailhead on Forest Road 45
- Lucky Lake Trailhead just off Century Drive, 21 and 40 miles west of Bend respectively. It is acceptable to park in the day use area at Lava Lake Campground and proceed to the trailhead by the boat ramp.
