St. Louis Lake (#14)


Length: 3 miles from the St. Louis Lake trailhead to the start of the St. Louis Lake Trail, then an additional 3 miles from the start of the trail to St. Louis Lake; 6 miles total DISTANCES ARE ONE-WAY

Elevation: 10,315 at start of trail; 11,591 feet at St. Louis Lake 

Trail Description: Begin at the St. Louis Lake Trailhead. The trail begins as an old road that has been decomissioned. Follow the road for 3 miles before reaching the start of the single-track trail. The trail turns begins heading west and hits the junction of the St. Louis Pass Trail (#14.1). Continue straight as the trail heads north towards St. Louis Lake.

Note: This trail is in the Fraser Experimental Forest. Camping is prohibited, except for within a 1 mile radius of St. Louis Lake. View a camping restrictions map here.
