Lake Vesuvius - Roadside Picnic Area (not shelter)

This day use area has several picnic tables located around a shaded park-like setting below the Lake Vesuvius dam. Ample parking, water, grills, and tables, and a quaint bridge make this a picturesque place to spend a few hours. It is across from the Vesuvius furnace and near hiking trails.
