Dutchman Lake

This 118 acre lake is not far from main highways and the small town of Vienna, IL. where stores and gas stations are available for food, gas and live bait. Dutchman Lake is also easily accessible from exit 14 on Interstate 24.

Gravel boat launch. Shoreline fishing available. Boat motor limit:10hp

Fishing licenses can be obtained online from the IL. Dept. of Natural Resources. Anglers must not use more than 2 poles and each pole must not have more than 2 hooks or lures attached while fishing. Catch Limits:

Largemouth Bass & Channel Catfish: 6 daily creel limit
Largemouth Bass: 15 minimum length.

Boating Restrictions: Motor use is limited to a maximum of 10 horsepower.

Illinois Fishing license is required. Fishing licenses can be obtained online from the IL. Dept. of Natural Resources.

From Interstate 24 (east): Take Exit #14 and turn right (south) onto State Hwy 45, go half a mile to Holly Drive. Then turn right (west) onto Holly Drive proceed 350 feet, stopping at the “T” and turn right (north) onto Dutchman Lake Road. Continue 3.8 miles on Dutchman Lake Road to Forest Road (FR) #400, which leads to Dutchman Lake. Turn left onto FR400 and proceed 1 mile and the road ends at Dutchman Lake.

From the Hidden Springs Ranger Station in Vienna, IL: From the Ranger Station parking lot turn right (north) onto State Hwy 45, go 1 mile to Holly Drive. Then turn left (west) onto Holly Drive proceed 350 feet, stopping at the “T” and turn right (north) onto Dutchman Lake Road. Continue 3.8 miles on Dutchman Lake Road to Forest Road (FR) #400, which leads to Dutchman Lake. Turn left onto FR400 and proceed 1 mile and the road ends at Dutchman Lake.
