Pine Acres Boat Launch

This small, quiet area is primarily used for accessing the river. Visitors may be treated to a sight of the Trumpeter swans that inhabit the area.

Au Sable River Primitive Camping

  • No permit or reservation is required outside of the permitted season.
  • Camping Permit required at primitive campsites from April 15 to November 30.

$5 vehicle per day
$15 per seven day

Daily and 7-day passes can be purchased on-site with cash or check, or purchased on recreation.gov.  Daily, 7-day and annual passes can be purchased at Huron-Manistee National Forest Offices. More information can be found on the Passes page.
