Reporting Wells

Old home sites exist across many parts of the Hoosier National Forest in Indiana. Many of these sites still include open, hand-dug wells. The Forest is working to address known well hazards. Well known sites are being marked with signs; however, there may be wells not yet discovered.

Please report an open well if you discover one. Detailed notes on well locations are appreciated, including photos and GPS coordinates where they are possible.
