North Star Campground
For the 2026 season, the North Star campground will be converting from all first-come first-served to having sites 22-38 reservable from July 3 – September 6, 2026. The other sites will remain first-come first-served. For reservations go to recreation.gov.
Located at 46891 State Highway 38 Marcell, MN, four miles from Marcell or 25 miles from Grand Rapids. Thirty-eight campsites are located within easy walking distance of the sandy swimming beach. The lake has many sheltered bays and inlets to provide quiet water for ideal fishing.
