Forest Order

Under authority of the Act of Congress of June 4, 1987, as amended (16 USC 551), and the Secretary of Agricultures Regulation 36 CFR 261.50, the following is prohibited on lands within the Tracy Ridge National Recreation Area, located within McKean and Warren Counties, Pennsylvania, Allegheny National Forest, as shown on map attached and made a part of as Exhibit A:

  • Possessing or using a saddle, pack, or draft animal (36 CFR 261.55(c))
  • Possessing or using a mountain bicycle

Violations of these prohibitions is punishable by a fine of not more than $5,000.00 or imprisonment for not more than six (6) months, or both, under the authority of 16 USC 551.
