Caldwell Fields Group Campground
Caldwell Fields offers two large, open fields for group camping, Milton and George Fields. These fields are ideal for campers who require few amenities. A third field is available for day-use only. The day-use field is currently designated as a First Amendment Gathering Site.

Maximum Consecutive Stay
- You may stay up to 14 nights during a visit at this campground.
Maximum Reservations per Transaction
- You may pay for up to 4 reservations at one time within the same credit card transaction.
Cancellations
You can cancel the reservation any time before the date of your scheduled arrival. You will receive a refund for your stay, minus the following fees:
- $10 cancellation fee
- Any reservation fees (only if paid when booking)
- Any previous change fees
General Information
Please pack out all of your trash.

Check-in is 1:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:00 a.m. for both reservable fields. Day-use area open sunrise to sunset.
Sites are limited to 50 people and 20 vehicles.
When recreating on Forest Service Lands, follow the safety and outdoor ethics recommendations.
Overnight Use:
Group Site: $35 per night
The day-use area does not require a reservation or fee.

From Blacksburg, VA: Follow US 460 west for 2.8 miles. Turn right on Craig Creek Road (SR 621). Go 8.8 miles. Fields are on right.
