Alfrey Boat Ramp
Alfrey Boat Ramp is located along Twin Knobs Road just off KY 801 on the eastern shore of Cave Run Lake. Fishing is not allowed from the boat ramp, but once you are in the water, you will find a wide variety of fish species. Cave Run Lake is well-known for excellent muskie fishing. Swimming or sunbathing within 100 feet of any boat launch ramp or courtesy boat dock is prohibited for public safety. The site includes parking, signage, trash collection, security lighting and a courtesy dock.

A Daniel Boone National Forest recreation pass (hang tag or sticker) must be displayed inside vehicles parked at the boat ramp. Passes may be purchased from Forest offices or local vendors for $5/day; $7/3 day; $50 annual.

Directions
From I-64, take exit 133 (Farmers Sharkey) and go south on KY 801. After 8.7 miles, turn right into Twin Knobs. Take the first left (Forest Service Road 1269). The boat ramp is on the left.
