Little Milligan Boat Launch is located on the Eastern half of Watauga Lake off US 321 and Moody Road.

Little Milligan Boat Launch is open but is subject to temporary closure in the near future. PLEASE NOTE: A temporary closure for Little Milligan Boat Ramp Area is planned for the near future. Once closed, the ramp will be inaccessible for approximately four weeks. Sink Mountain Boat Ramp is an alternative boat ramp to use during this temporary closure.

General Information

Open from sunrise to sunset for day use only. Open year round.

The day-use permit may be purchased HERE.

Alcohol is prohibited on site.
It is your responsibility to read, know, understand, and follow all specific rules and regulations which are also posted at the day-use area.

Day Use:
$2 per vehicle per day
$30 per annual

The day-use fee is $2 per vehicle per day or a Cherokee National Forest Pass for $30 for the year. Contact the Watauga Ranger District for more information at 423-735-1500. The day-use permit can also be purchased online HERE or see information in the Passes section.

Directions

From Hampton, TN travel East on US-321S/Hwy 67E for approx. 9.4 miles, then turn Right to continue on US-321S. Travel approx. 2 miles and then turn left onto Moody Rd. Travel approx. 0.7 miles and turn right onto Moody Circle. Continue approx. 0.5 miles and you will end up at the Little Milligan Boat Launch Area.
