Pacific Crest Trail: Winter Snow Trail

Ray Benson Sno-Park » Pacific Crest Trail: Winter

The Pacific Crest Trail bisects the North and South Loops as it winds in a north-south direction along the length of Santiam Pass.

The section marked for winter travel begins on the northern edge of the North Loop Trail about 1.5 miles northeast of Ray Benson Sno-park and ends along the southern edge of the South Loop Trail near the old Santiam Wagon Road.

The Pacific Crest Trail, not constructed or cleared for winter use, is narrow with frequent tree wells north of the junction with Fireline Loop Trail (snowmobile trail).
