Marion Lake Trail #3436

This trail provides access to Marion Lake within Mount Jefferson Wilderness.

Trail travels through Douglas- Fir, Western Hemlock, Western Red Cedar and Pacific Yew forest up to Ann Lake before put intersecting with Marion Outlet Trail #3495.

The trail travels through talus slope before meeting the other end of Marion Outlet Trail. Trail travels near Marion Lake through another large rock covered slope before ending at the junction with Minto Pass Trail #3437 and Lake of the Woods Trail #3493.

General Information

$5/vehicle/day or a valid recreation pass. No payment accepted onsite.

Central Cascades Wilderness Permits are required between June 15 and October 15 for both day and overnight use when entering from the Marion Lake trailhead. Check out Recreation.gov for more information or call 1-877-444-6777.
A valid recreation pass may be used as a form of fee payment.

Water from streams and lakes should be filtered or treated.

Directions

From Detroit, Oregon travel east on Highway 22 for 16 miles to the town of Marion Forks, Oregon.  Turn left onto Marion Creek Road (Forest Service Road 2255) and travel 5.5 miles to the trailhead at the end of the road.
