Lake of the Woods Trail #3493

From Marion Lake, Minto Pass junction trail heads north through Puzzle Creek fire of 2006, Swallow Lake Trail, Bingham Ridge Trail, Hunt's Creek Trail all connect to this trail. Lake of the Woods is 2 miles north of Marion Lake Trail junction.

$5/vehicle/day or a valid recreation pass. No payment accepted onsite.

If entering from Bingham Ridge Trailhead: There are two types of entry permits required between June 15 and October 15. Check out Recreation.gov for more information or call 1-877-444-6777.

  • Overnight Use
  • Day Use
    • Free, self-issue Wilderness Permit (available at the trailhead) between June 15 and October 15.

If entering from Marion Lake or Pamelia Lake trailheads: Central Cascades Wilderness Permit are required between June 15 and October 15 for both day and overnight use at this trailhead. Check out Recreation.gov for more information or call 1-877-444-6777.
