Elkhorn Ridge Trail #3347

This trail follows along the top of Elkhorn Ridge offering occasional views to the North and South. The "Phantom Natural Bridge" is on the Eastern end of this trail.

Current Conditions
This trail is in an area impacted by the Beachie Creek and Lionshead Fires. Before visiting areas affected by wildfire, make sure to review the 4 Steps for Safety for recreating in burned areas.

Directions

From Salem, Oregon, travel east on Highway 22 to milepost 23. Turn left onto North Fork Road at the Oregon Department of Forestry office location just outside of Mehama, Oregon.

Travel 14.7 miles to Elkhorn Road, turn right onto Elkhorn Road and travel 8 miles to the trailhead 0.25 mile before the end of the road on an unmarked side spur road.
