$5/vehicle/day or a valid recreation pass. No payment accepted onsite.

Central Cascades Wilderness Permits are required between June 15 and October 15 for both day and overnight use from Duffy Lake trailhead. Check out Recreation.gov for more information or call 1-877-444-6777.
A valid recreation pass may be used as a form of fee payment.

Water from streams and lakes should be filtered or treated.

Access from Duffy Lake Trailhead (Fee site)

Directions

From Detroit, Oregon, travel 25.6 miles east on State Highway 22 to Big Meadows Road (Forest Service Road 2267).

From Sisters, Oregon, head west on State Highway 126/ US Highway 20 for 31.5 miles to Big Meadows Road (Forest Service Road 2267)*.

*(Highway will merge and continue as State Highway 22 after 25.7 miles from Sisters).

Turn left on Big Meadows Road (Forest Service Road 2267). In  0.9 miles you will reach the junction with Forest Service Road 2257 on the left. 

Bear right to continue  another 2 miles on Forest Service Road 2267 (past the junction with Forest Service Road 2257) to the trailhead.
