Directions
From Oakridge, OR, travel east on Highway 58 for 23 miles to Forest Road 5897 (Waldo Lake Road). Turn left and follow Forest Road 5897 for 11 miles to Forest Road 5898, which leads to North Waldo Campground and Islet Campground.
Continue left (main paved road) on Forest Road 5898 and drive toward North Waldo Campground and to the North Waldo Picnic Area and Boat Launch.
The trailhead is on the north side of the upper boat launch parking area. The trail is accessed from the east end of upper parking lot.
The trail can also be accessed from Harralson Horse Camp.
