This trailhead provides access to:

  • Crown Lake Trail #336
  • Roaring Creek Trail #3361

General Information

Open 24 hours/day

There are two types of entry permits required between June 15 and October 15 for entering the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness from this trailhead.

  • Overnight Use
  • Day Use
    • Free, self-issue Wilderness Permit (available at the trailhead) between June 15 and October 15.

Directions

From Detroit, Oregon, turn left onto Breitenbush Road (Highway 46), travel for 14 miles, turn right on Forest Road 4685. Travel for 8 miles to Forest Road 330, turn right and go to end of road to trailhead.
