Directions

From Ashland, OR, drive south on Interstate 5 for 10 miles to the Mt. Ashland exit. Turn right and drive 0.25 mile to Mt. Ashland Road. Turn right on to the Mt. Ashland Road and follow for 11.2 miles to the junction with Forest Road 40S30 (Grouse Gap shelter is 0.25 mile from this junction). The trail crosses Forest Road 40S30 at this junction and proceeds south to the Forest Boundary.
