Tamanous Trail (#27)
This short trail 0.6 mile trail connects Bonneville Trailhead to the Pacific Crest Trail as it heads north in Washington. This trail is often used by equestrians to reach the Pacific Crest Trail.
It can be combined with the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 North to provide a route up to Table Mountain, a 14-mile round-trip hike to the summit. The trail takes its name from the local Native American tradition of initiating their young into adulthood by sending them on vision quests, which they called the "Ta-mah-no-ous."
