Gorge 400 (MP 19.5 - 22.5) Wahclella to Eagle Crk

Hike this section of the Gorge Trail #400 through the forest from Wahclella Falls Trailhead to Eagle Creek Day Use Area/Trailhead. Access to other trails along this section such as Wauna Point Trail.

Nearby Toothrock Trailhead provides access to the paved Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail great for runs, strolls, and biking. From John Yeon State Park to Cascade Locks, the State Trail is free of motor vehicles.

Mountain bikes are allowed on this section of the Gorge Trail #400.

Motor vehicles are prohibited. Fires not allowed within 200 feet of trail.

$5/vehicle/day or a valid pass required at Wahclella Falls Trailhead.

Directions

Wahclella Falls Trailhead

From Portland, OR: Travel east on Interstate 84 to Bonneville exit #40. Turn right (south) and park at either Wahclella Trailhead. Trailhead is to the left of the parking area.

From Cascade Locks, OR: Travel west on Interstate 84 to Bonneville exit #40. Turn left (south), pass under the freeway and turn left at the fork and continue straight after passing under the freeway.  The trailhead is to the left of the parking area for Wahclella Trailhead.
