Eagle Creek Overlook Group Campground
This historic site was developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's as a place to view construction of the Bonneville Dam. Set on a bluff with sweeping views of the Columbia River and the Washington side of the Gorge, this is site is great for family gathering and group events.
The Eagle Creek Overlook Group Site holds up to 90 people and approximately 40 cars, including trailers. There is a train trestle with under-clearance of 11' 6". There are no RV hookups on site.
The site is equipped with a large covered picnic shelter, picnic tables, campfire rings, drinking water and newly remodeled accessible flush toilets. Hosts will be on site.
A path from the site down the bluff provides access to the Columbia River.

Note: Noise can be an issue with I-84 nearby as well as railroad tracks.

Overnight use: 50% discount for single site camping with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age, or Golden Access. Applies to fee for site occupied by the pass holder.
- Aircraft/UAS/drone takeoffs and landings are prohibited at this site.
- There are no RV hookups but RV’s up to 40’ are permissible.
- Limited to 90 maximum people per day; no amplified music is allowed at any time
- 14-day stay limit
- Noise from I-84 and railroad tracks can be an issue
- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species

Directions
From Portland, OR: Travel east on Interstate 84 approximately 41 miles and take exit #41. At the end of the off ramp turn, left at the stop sign. Follow the paved road under the freeway to the campground entrance and gate.
From Cascade Locks, OR: Travel west on Interstate 84 approximately 3 miles and take exit #40, Bonneville Dam (exit #41 has no westbound exit). Turn left at the stop sign at the end of the off ramp and left again onto the eastbound freeway entrance. Travel east on Interstate 84 to exit #41. At the end of the off ramp turn, left at the stop sign. Follow the paved road under the freeway to the campground entrance and gate.
