Bridge Of The Gods Trailhead

Provides access to: Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail #2000 which accesses Mark O Hatfield Wilderness to the south, and the state of Washington to the north across the Columbia River. 

The trailhead is located at the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks, OR the largest city adjacent to the Pacific Crest Trail. This site is also the lowest elevation on the Pacific Crest Trail. The trailhead includes a parking area and restroom that is seasonally closed to the public.

Day use only: open sunrise to sunset

Recreation Passes may be used as a form of fee payment at trailhead.

Self issue entry permits are required when entering Mark O Hatfield Wilderness between Memorial Day and October 31. Permits are available at trailheads.  

Wilderness restrictions apply within Mark O Hatfield Wilderness.

$5 per vehicle per day
$30 per annual

Directions

From Portland, OR: Travel east on Interstate 84 to exit #44. Follow the off ramp under the overpass and bridge and take the first right past the bridge. Trailhead parking is marked by an entrance sign on the right.

From Hood River, OR: Travel west on Interstate 84 to exit #44. Follow the off ramp as it turns into Wa Na Pa Street/Cascade Locks Highway/US-30. Travel to the west side of Cascade Locks and turn left on the access road to the Bridge of the Gods. Trailhead parking is marked by an entrance sign on the right.
