Campgrounds - Highway 120 Corridor

Situated in the Central Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Groveland Ranger District offers many beautiful sites for camping in a variety of settings. The Groveland Ranger District manages eight campgrounds within the Highway 120 Corridor between the historic town of Groveland and Yosemite National Park.

All campgrounds offer vault toilets, tables, grills and fire rings. Large motor homes and trailers cannot be accommodated in some campgrounds, and electric and sewer hookups are not available.

General Information

  • Lumsden Campground (currently closed due to storm damage)

Camp in designated sites only. The number of people allowed in a single campsite is six. Campfire permits are not required in developed campgrounds. Do not burn plastic or metal. Please leave the area in as good (or better) condition than you found it. Often, locations destroyed by thoughtless campers must be closed to restore the area's natural health. Help ensure your favorite area remains open.

American Land & Leisure operates the following campgrounds under a special use permit and charges the following fees:

  • Cherry Valley Campground: $29 single site, $58 double site
  • Dimond O Campground: $33 single site, $66 double site
