Kelty Meadow Campground

Located in a mountainous area near Bass Lake at a 3,400-foot elevation, Kelty Meadow Campground is a horse-friendly camp shaded by pine and cedar trees alongside Kelty Creek. 

  • Campsites wide and open enough to accommodate small horse trailers, slide-ins, tent trailers or tents.
  • Some sites have hitching posts but no corrals.
  • Each campsite equipped with a picnic table, campfire ring, and grill.
  • Vault toilets available.
  • Drinking water not provided, but a stock water supply available from the creek.
  • Road access is paved and dirt.

  • 2-night minimum stay on weekends
  • 3-night minimum stay on holidays. 
  • Max group size per site = 6
  • Max length of stay = 14 nights

From Fresno

  1. Take Hwy 41 north,
  2. Continue through Oakhurst to Sky Ranch Road (Forest Road 6S10), also Forest Road 10.
  3. Travel 11.1 miles.
  4. Turn left on FR 6S20.
