PRATHER, Calif., Sep. 4, 2025 — The San Diego Interagency Incident Management Team has confirmed two new fire starts as of Thursday, September 4 adding to the eight sited fires, and single unlocated fire, all of which are believed to be a result of recent lightning storms. Smokejumpers have been inserted into the Ershim, Hidden, Silver, and Cone Fires.
Hot Shot Crews and Engines have arrived at the Lucky and Pin Cushion Fires and Aircraft are assigned to scout for any additional smokes. All existing fires are holding within current containment lines.
