Bear Creek Trail

31E31 The Bear Creek trail is 7.0 miles long. It begins at 31E14 and ends at Tc Coy Flat Drive. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking. Trailhead is on the Coy Flat Road ¼ mile past the last cabin and ½ mile shy of the Coy Flat Campground. It is a steady climb upwards to reach the Belknap Grove of giant sequoias. At about 3.5 miles you reach the top of the grove. At about 8 miles you reach the junction with the Summit Trail. Due to recent fires and flooding, the trail may have washouts, downed trees, and intermittently disappear.
