Powder Can Picnic Area

Powder Can is a developed picnic area near Hume Lake with a vault toilet and parking. At the site you will find tables, charcoal grills, and information boards.

Hume Lake offers many recreation opportunities such as: hiking, non-motorized boating, fishing and swimming.

Reservations

General Information

Campfire permits are required for campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves. Permits are available at your local Ranger Station or online at Campfire Permit - Ready for Wildfire.

Please check for current fire restrictions.

Day use only: open sunrise to sunset

No fees are required for this site
