Green Cabin Flat Campground

1,000-foot elevation. Undeveloped camping area on the wild and scenic Kings River. This area is secluded and requires significant travel time to visit Giant sequoia trees. Whitewater rafting down to Pine Flat Reservoir, with up to Class III rapids.

Food storage rules apply in black bear country.

Check current fire restrictions before venturing out.

General Information

Campfire permits are required for campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves. Permits are available at your local Ranger Station or online at Campfire Permit - Ready for Wildfire.

Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

From Fresno, go 47 miles east on CA 180, Piedra Road, 17 miles on Trimmer Springs Road (Forest Road 11S12), cross the river to the south, then go east on Davis Road (Forest Road 12S01).
