Caramba Trail 3E04

The Carumba trail is a connector trail , 4.32 miles long, beginning at Saddle Junction and ending at Tahquitz Creek. This trail is in the San Jacinto Wilderness Area and Wilderness Permits are required.

This is a connector trail in the San Jacinto Wilderness. The Caramba trail is not maintained from the Skunk Cabbage junction to Laws junction.

General Information

No fees are associated with this trail.

Wilderness Permit is required. Permits are self-serve at the San Jacinto Ranger Station kiosk desk 24 hrs.

  • Group size is limited to 12 people.
  • No campfires allowed. Portable gas stoves are allowed.
  • Camp on a durable surface at least 200 feet away from other people, trails, meadows, and water sources.
  • Dogs MUST be on a leash not longer than six feet, or otherwise under physical restrictive control [36 CFR 261.16(j)]. Read more info about pet ethics.
