Lobo Group Campground

This group campground sits in a pine forest setting in the Barton Flats Area of the San Bernardino National Forest. 

  • Maximum occupancy: 75 people.
  • Amenities includes picnic tables, pedestal grill, one group fire ring, and flush toilets.
  • Fishing opportunities nearby at Jenks Lake and Santa Ana River.
  • Hiking opportunities nearby as well.

Call (877) 444-6777 or visit www.recreation.gov.  Reservations can be made as early as 12 months in advance.

General Information

Reservations can be placed as late as 24 hours prior if availability. 

For example, reservations could be made on a Thursday before 2 p.m., for a Friday 2 p.m. check-in if availability.

Campground capacity: Max 75 persons and 15 vehicles

  • This campground requires 2-day minimum stay on weekends and 3-day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
  • No firearms or fireworks to be discharged in campground.

From I-10 East to Redlands

  • Take University Street exit, EXIT 80.
  • Turn left (northbound) on University Street.
  • Turn right onto E. Lugonia Avenue/SR-38.
  • Continue on State Highway 38.
  • From Mill Creek Work Station, about 22 miles to Lobo Group Campground.
