Alejandro Trail 31W15

The trail gently follows Alejandro Creek, meandering across it for approximately two miles before arriving at Alejandro Camp. The camp is situated under some old oak trees and is enclosed by a horse corral.

After the camp, the trail gradually ascends up and out of the canyon, weaving through more oaks and grassy areas. Just before reaching the top of the ridge, the trail turns left towards the lower section of the saddle. Once you have crossed up and over the saddle, the trail drops steeply downhill, ending at the Horse Canyon Labrea Trail.

Barrel Springs Camp and Barrel Spring, which the camp is named after, are just up the road from this location.
